IMC Toys: Clamour Summit Activation Booth 2019
About the Client
IMC Toys is one of the top 20 most successful toy companies in Europe. The spanish owned company manufactures and distributes their original toy brands such as Cry Babies, Club Petz and VIP Pets to over 50 countries around the world. Over the past 3 years the company has expanded from toys brands for children for all ages to the launch of all original animated mini series based on the characters from their products.
About the Project
With over 4.1 billion impressions on their social media channels during 2019, IMC Toys successfully participated in events such as the Toy Insider’s Sweet Suite, TTPM’s Holiday Preview and the Clamour Summit conference. The Clamour Summit event invited over 600 influencers and online video professional creators which allowed the brand to expand their networking and collaborations with influencers on popular social media channels.
For IMC’s participation in the 2019 event, I was in charge of designing an activation booth for the new Cry Babies Magic Tears toy brand and animated show. This booth consisted in 2 main activities; an unboxing station for the products and an overhead balloon activation with hidden prizes for the participants.
The booth’s space was distributed in different sections with activities for influencers, an unboxing station and branded cutouts of the Cry Babies characters:
The main goal of this project was to create a renderized version of the booth that would provide the booth’s construction team a clear concept of the execution for both activations and a visual concept that should reflect the Cry Babies Magic Tears brand.
The final concept was the creation of a branded magical forest which included furniture and scenic backdrops of the Cry Babies brand for both activities.
